October is filled with some great OOH and advertising events that Vistar Media will be featured in! Here’s a summary of all the great events to come.

AdTech OOH Toronto 

Wednesday, October 6

Vistar Media is excited to be one of the sponsors of the AdTech OOH Toronto event. The event is focused on gaining a better understanding of OOH topics like​​ Automation, Programmatic Buying, Marketplaces, Media Exchanges and Revenue Management for those already in the OOH or AdTech industry.  At 4:00PM, our very own General Manager of Vistar Media Canada, Scott Mitchell, will be in a fireside chat discussion with Sarah Kim, Vice President of Client and Agency Partnerships for Novus Media LLC, and Angie Genovese Managing Director, Client Business  for PHD.

New York Digital Signage Week 

New York Digital Signage Week is one of the highlights of the year for the digital out-of-home advertising industry - especially this year, when we can finally meet in person again! As a proud part of the trade, Vistar Media is excited to sponsor, host, and participate in multiple events throughout the week. Monday, October 11

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM—Out of Home Reception hosted by OAAA, GEOPATH, & Vistar Media

To help kick-off New York Digital Signage Week, Vistar Media is proud to sponsor the OAAA cocktail party Monday night. Tuesday, October 12

8:00 AM to 5:30 PM—DPAA Video Everywhere Summit

The DPAA Video Everywhere Summit is the largest event of the week. First, on October 12th, there will be an in-person event with brands like Walgreens, American Express, Burger King, Unilever, Clorox, Vice Media, MilkPEP, and more. Then, on October 14th and 15th, there will be a two-part Global Broadcast with even more speakers! Vistar Media will be appearing on the main stage, showcasing some client highlights as well as having our own booth. Come check us out! 

Thursday, October 14

8:30 AM to 1:00 PM— AdTech OOH NY

Vistar Media will be sponsoring the AdTech OOH New York event. The purpose of the event is to showcase more about AdTech and the OOH industry to those involved. Topics will include ​​Automation, Programmatic Buying, Marketplaces, Media Exchanges and Revenue Management. Furthermore the experts will discuss the future of advertising, in regards to AdTech and OOH. 

8:30 AM to 5:00 PM—DSNY Table-Top Trade Show

At this small, intimate space in New York City, people all across the industry have the opportunity to talk and network in a comfortable setting. Find the Vistar Media table, where our team will be eager to chat with you about all that we do in the digital advertising space!

2:00PM to 2:45PM— DSNY Bonus Presentation- The OAAA / IAB Tech Lab OpenRTB Discussion

Our very own Vice President of Marketing, Leslie Lee, will be leading a panel discussion about the development of standards in out-of-home, including the work between the OAAA & IAB on developing OpenRTB specs.

Monday, October 18

3:00 PM—Programmatic DOOH: A Growing Part of the Omnichannel Mix Panel, Online and In-Person Session

As part of their Advances in AdTech series, Advertising Week will be hosting a panel of industry experts to talk about the direction of digital out-of-home advertising. Included in the panel of speakers is Vistar Media’s SVP of US Sales, Lucy Markowitz. Shoptalk Fall Meetup 

Tuesday-Thursday, October 19-21

11:00 AM to 1:45 PM ET— The Shoptalk Fall Meetup 

The Shoptalk Fall Meetup will feature Vistar Media’s Jordan Fraser, Publisher Solutions, in one-on-one virtual meetings. The Meetup will have over 2,500 participants from both the U.S. and European retail communities. It will include individual meetings, conferences, and expert-led 55 minute “TableTalks” to discuss pressing issues in the industry. Once you get a ticket, you can request to meet with individuals you are interested in conversing with, including Vistar’s very own, Jordan Fraser.
