How Renova is bringing the creativity of social media to the outdoors

Renova, known for its colorful toilet paper, has teamed up with SuperHeroes AMS | NYC | SGP, the creative agency saving the world from boring advertising, for a unique global campaign that brings social media's mixed reality videos to outdoor screens.

Mixed reality for the sexiest paper in the world

To promote Renova globally, SuperHeroes teamed up with their digital street art studio JIMMY’s leading mixed reality artists: @shanef3d, @ghost3dee, @hati.hati.mas, @camylbuena, @mregfx. These artists mixed CGI with real-life locations to create stunning videos in which Renova's living paper interacts with iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the New York subway. These mixed reality videos, which are becoming increasingly popular on social media, are now also appearing in outdoor spaces, merging virtual and real worlds.

Combining social media and outdoor advertising for maximum impact

SuperHeroes extended the reach of Renova’s eye-catching videos on TikTok and Instagram to outdoor digital screens with the help of Vistar Media's DOOH DSP. For example, one of the videos by @hati.hati.mas that highlighted the Eiffel Tower was also shown in screens near the Eiffel Tower during peak shopping and commuting hours to effectively target local audiences.
