Earlier this year, Vistar Media's partnership with Clear Channel Netherlands went live. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Vistar Media in the Netherlands. In an interview, we spoke with Marc Bergers, Head of Products at Clear Channel Netherlands. This conversation highlights the unique value proposition their digital network brings to the out-of-home (OOH) industry and how the partnership with Vistar Media is enhancing digital advertising experiences in the Netherlands.


Please describe your network in 2 sentences

Clear Channel’s DOOH network provides unique access to some of Netherlands' most desirable advertising locations, from busy, bustling high streets all across the country, premium retail and parking locations to being able to target Gen Z at schools and universities, we’re right where people are.


What types of screens do you have, and where can they be found?

Focus is on a simple setup for our advertisers with 2m2 screens in the most desirable portrait format. With a HTML, video or static creative, Clear Channel’s entire DOOH network is available for programmatic.


What regions do you operate in?

All over the Netherlands, unique to the DOOH landscape. Furthermore, we have screens from the UK to Finland and every country in between.


What audiences do you reach?

From B2B audiences at the Zuidas parkings in Amsterdam and other business areas, to retail audiences across the country, including high-income shoppers in major Dutch cities, Gen Z at schools, and various demographics on the streets.


What sets you apart from other digital channels?

With the best use of data solutions like proximity and audiences, our screens offer a unique mix of targeting various contextual segments like retail, business, shoppers, travelers and Gen Z. Just to name a few, as the possibilities are endless. 


What is your network's main value proposition to a brand?

With national coverage of our DOOH screens and various locations, we provide solutions ranging from brand building to performance marketing. By collaborating with Vistar Media , the effective use of data can lead to measurable campaign performance


What do you wish more digital buyers knew about out-of-home?

In a cookie-less world, OOH offers unique possibilities to brands. From SMBs to large multinationals, there is an opportunity for everyone and every budget to reach people in the real world, whether near points of interest or during times that might be particularly engaging.


How do you see digital out-of-home evolving over the next year?

With infusion of data and DOOH being part of omnichannel campaigns, the future looks bright.
