Thanking Everyone #OutThereForUs With OOH

While most of us are adapting our lives to social distancing and staying home, we know that many people across the country today are still going to work to heal and care for those in need, and to keep the essentials running – in other words, they are #OutThereForUs.

Working with the Ad Council, Vistar Media is saying THANK YOU to all healthcare workers, truck drivers, caregivers, grocers, sanitation workers, police officers and everyone else who is out at work every day. The Ad Council’s new campaign uses digital out-of-home to broadcast messages of gratitude to these essential workers.

The campaign, which features the new song “Good Job” from Alicia Keys, encourages us all to submit short messages of thanks to the essential workers in our lives using the hashtag #OutThereForUs, which will then be turned into DOOH creatives. The campaign is running on donated media and outreach from Ally Financial, Clear Channel Outdoor, Lamar Advertising Company and Outcome Health. Vistar is proud to help send these messages of support by running this campaign through our technology platform free of charge.

The DOOH ads are strategically placed on route to hospitals, at point-of-care locations, along highway road signs and outside grocery stores in cities that have been heavily hit by the pandemic crisis. These targeted messages are also being amplified through takeovers in Times Square and Los Angeles.

"I am honored to be a part of this beautiful message celebrating those working tirelessly through this trying time," said Alicia Keys. "The selflessness and hard work of our essential workers and the empathy of everyone coming together is truly inspiring. They are heroes and deserve our love and support today and everyday."

We couldn’t agree more.
