Vistar Media, the leading global provider of programmatic technology for digital out-of-home (DOOH), has been selected as the supply-side platform (SSP) for Scentre Group’s inhouse digital network, BrandSpace, providing programmatic access to its high impact inventory in New Zealand.

Scentre Group is the owner and operator of five Westfield Living Centres in New Zealand and offers 207 screens in its SmartScreen Network, now available programmatically via Vistar. This allows buyers to purchase Scentre Group’s BrandSpace inventory via private marketplace deals and open exchange to reach and connect with retail audiences through highly visible digital screens.

“We are delighted to bring to the New Zealand market a partnership that marries Scentre Group’s valuable BrandSpace inventory – positioned in prime locations to reach audiences in a buying mindset – and the data-driven targeting and flexible buying capabilities of programmatic, to create a powerful incentive for brands to invest in DOOH,” said Ben Baker, Managing Director APAC at Vistar Media.

"Our Westfield Living Centres are strategically located in the heart of communities and are some of the most frequently visited places in our markets. With a diverse range of businesses and brands wanting to engage the Westfield customer, programmatic broadens the exposure of OOH to new channels of data led, digitally enabled buyers,” said Scott Moore, General Manager, Commercial Delivery at Scentre Group. “Vistar's platform enables us to optimise network performance for advertisers and deliver highly relevant content to our Westfield customer, while also enhancing the consumer experience in-centre with us.”

Scentre Group’s inventory is now available for purchase programmatically via Vistar’s partnerships with the world’s leading demand-side platforms such as: Amobee, MediaMath, The Trade Desk, Verizon and more, including Vistar’s own DSP.
